"Thirty-thousand Americans are killed by guns every year -- on the job, walking to school, at the shopping mall. The Supreme Court on Thursday all but ensured that even more Americans will die senselessly with its wrongheaded and dangerous ruling striking down key parts of the District of Columbia's gun-control law." The Times failed to mention that nearly half of the 30,000 deaths are suicides. The paper also didn’t look at how many of those homicides were the result of self-defense. Instead, the Times, like its liberal network counterparts, lamented that the "far-right" court got it wrong, setting the stage for more violence and death. Consider what has happened just in the last week: - In New Jersey, East Brunswick High School officials told football coach Marcus Borden he cannot kneel and bow his head while members of his team have a student-led pre-game prayer. - In Wisconsin’s Tomah Area School District, a teacher refused to give a student identified only as A.T. a grade on an art project because his work included "John 3:16" as well as "A sign of love." However, Buddha, Hindu and sorcerers are considered “approved” forms of art by the school. (source)
- In Mt. Vernon, Ohio, school leaders told teacher John Freshwater he must put his Bible out of sight when students are in his room. Mr. Freshwater has refused to do so. He has had a Bible on his desk for the past 18 years. (source)

Confirming MRC findings, a just released study by the Center
for Media and Public shows that liberal media bias in this
election cycle continues unabated. According to the study,
as cited by Fox News Channel's Brit Hume, positive news
coverage of John McCain went into a negative freefall the
closer he drew to winning the GOP nomination.
While this may not be a surprise, the disparity of negative
coverage between the candidates is nothing short of shocking!
As reported by Hume, "McCain's media fortunes have taken a
dramatic turn for the worse since early January," tumbling 67
percent from a high of 97 percent positive to 30 percent.
Conversely, Barack Obama, despite a recent slip, is still
receiving twice the positive coverage as McCain (67 percent);
while Hillary Clinton stands at 57 percent.

Global Warming skeptics are getting the cold shoulder from
news organizations that have decided the global warming is
a fact and any dissenting arguments are to be squashed.
On those increasingly rare instances where opposing opinions
are expressed, they are almost always de-valued and undermined
with negative buzz words like "cynics" and "deniers."
In a new Special Report, "Global Warming Censored," the Business
& Media Institute analyzed 205 network news stories about "global
warming" or "climate change" between July 1, 2007, and Dec. 31, 2007.
They discovered that for every global warming skeptic appearing
on air, an average of 13 proponents (CBS led the way with a ratio
of 38 to 1) were mentioned or interviewed.
Just as amazing, only 20 percent of Global Warming stories ever
bothered to mention opposing arguments!

Really Charles, or is it just on the minds of liberal news anchors desperate to create a buzz? A closer look suggests the latter. "Good Morning America" co-anchor Diane Sawyer, seemed to come unhinged when discussing the idea with George Stephanopoulos. After he admitted it was something he was thinking of "for most of the year," Sawyer emphatically begged Stephanopoulos to bet that the "Dream Ticket" would happen. AFA will not bow down to a threat from a liberal left-wing group The Rev. Barry Lynn, the executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, has asked that the Internal Revenue Service investigate the American Family Association. Lynn says that AFA has violated IRS rules by distributing a voters guide.
For years, Rev. Lynn and his Americans United, along with groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union and People for the American Way, have used threats to silence Christians in an attempt to take away their First Amendment rights. The tragedy is that he has been successful in silencing thousands of ministers.
Let me make one thing clear to Rev. Lynn and his cohorts. We have no intention of bowing down to his threatening demands. Rev. Lynn is mistaken if he thinks his threat will scare this minister from exercising his First Amendment rights.
Lynn has also included a threat to churches. Trying to scare ministers from exercising their rights, Lynn said: "Any church that distributes these biased guides is risking its tax exemption and casting aside its integrity."
The AFA Voters Guide was developed by three constitutional lawyers and reviewed by three more constitutional lawyers following Rev. Lynn's threat. All agreed that the voters guide is perfectly legal.
The Alliance Defense Fund has offered to represent (free of charge) churches or organizations which distribute the voter's guide and encounter opposition from either Lynn or the IRS.

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.
Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, get the message .
